Orion Lending launches new tech to help brokers quickly lock in loans

Wholesale mortgage lender Orion Lending has added a new feature to its proprietary STAR Broker Portal, streamlining the process of locking in loans.

The new QuickLock feature allows brokers to quickly lock in loans without needing to upload a 3.2 or 3.4 file. According to Tracey Corbett, Orion’s executive vice president of strategy, it reduces the time it takes to lock in a loan to “just a few seconds,” enabling brokers to immediately react to fast-changing market conditions.

“Becoming the lender of choice for our broker partners is what drives us to continually look for ways to add value and efficiency for our customers,” said Corbett. “Our QuickLock technology is a prime example of this.”
