The
DOGE
is
a
planned
US
presidential
advisory
commission
that
was
announced
by
President-elect
Donald
Trump
ahead
of
his
second
term.

It
is
not
expected
to
be
a
federal
executive
department,
but
Trump
noted
that
it
would “provide
advice
and
guidance
from
outside
of
government,”

reported.

According
to
the
report,
Trump
said
the
initiative
will
help “dismantle
government
bureaucracy,
slash
excess
regulations,
cut
wasteful
expenditures
and
restructure
federal
agencies.”
