Merchants Mortgage taps industry veteran as retail mortgage sales manager

Merchants Mortgage, a division of Merchants Bank of Indiana, has announced the appointment of Ronald Berry (pictured) to vice president, retail mortgage sales manager.

Berry, who brings more than three decades of industry experience, will oversee the recruiting, hiring, and training of all mortgage sales professionals. In addition, he will be responsible for the financial performance, budget adherence and growth in customer base for a defined local region.

In a statement, Merchants said it expects Berry to help “drive results through talent management strategies, prioritizing the coaching and development of sales professionals to meet larger business objectives.”
