Flagstar Bank taps industry veteran as president of distributed retail mortgage

“Jim is an industry veteran who has extensive experience running distributed retail operations, both in a bank and non-bank environment,” said Lee Smith, president of mortgage for Flagstar. “He’s a results-oriented team-builder with a demonstrated ability to grow people and organizations. Before making the switch to Flagstar, Linnane was the chief production officer of Proper Rate. Prior to that, he served as the national retail president of Stearns Lending for over four years. Lennane also spent more than 15 years at Wells Fargo Home Mortgage, where he held various leadership positions.
